Low Carbon Fuels: With the release of our report "Cars and Cancer: Toxic Pollution from Cars and Trucks in Maryland," we highlighted the need for a reduction in Maryland's statewide global warming pollution, which helped lead to deadlines for getting clean energy and smart transportation policies in place quickly.

Support rallied for the Bay: Last fall, we helped make sure that the EPA's draft clean up for the Chesapeake Bay included clear deadlines for reducing pollution and consequences if reductions are not met. To make sure this happened, and with support from the Campbell Foundation, our national federation expanded our outreach to the public and generated nearly 44,000 e-activist comments to EPA on the draft plan.
