Smart Energy Now: RSVP to a Town Hall Meeting

Learn how to save money on your energy bills at a town hall meeting. Environment Maryland and other groups will present information about the incentives and rebates offered by utility companies and the state of Maryland to make your home more energy efficient, as well as discuss energy legislation being considered in the General Assembly.

State progress on clean energy

We helped enact energy-efficiency standards for a variety of products in 11 states. We've worked with 25 states to pass a renewable energy standards. And we've helped 12 states cut global warming pollution with clean cars programs. When enacted, these programs will reduce gasoline consumption by as much as 7.2 billion gallons per year in 2020 and save consumers up to $16.7 billion annually at the pump in 2020. Read more.
