We are working hard to address the immediate tragedy in the Gulf -- from holding BP accountable to making sure that our coasts are protected from further drilling disasters. At the same time, we are urgently pressing the long term solution -- a comprehensive clean energy policy that will reduce our need for oil in the first place. But these two efforts quite frankly are stretching our resources thin.
